Blackheart reunited with Gage backstage at a GCW event. After her WWE contract was not renewed, Shotzi Blackheart's first match back on the independent scene was for Game Changer Wrestling. She entered the Tournament of Survival. While at the show, Blackheart ran into Nick Gage. While speaking to Podcast Heat Wrestling, Blackheart recalled a planned 10,000-thumbtack match she was going to do with Gage. The match was scrapped due to Blackheart signing with WWE. She feels she owes it to herself and to Gage to do the match. Blackheart has tweeted that the only person who could bring her back to deathmatch wrestling is Gage. Blackheart has an ongoing back-and-forth with Matt Cardona. She was asked if she'd do a deathmatch with him and suggested the idea of a three-way with Cardona, Gage, and herself. “I saw him backstage at GCW T.O.S. and it was just so good to see him and before I got signed, we were meant to have -- I think it was like a 10,000-thumbtack match that unfortunately because of WWE, I had to pull out of it and now that I’m back, I feel like I owe it to myself and to Nick Gage to have that match. You know what? I would (give Matt Cardona a deathmatch). I would give him a deathmatch. But he said that he retired and he said that he would only come out for Nick Gage so, I don’t know, maybe there’s a really awesome three-way right there…” Blackheart has a list of upcoming GCW dates she is scheduled for and to view that, head over to her X account.
