A new addition to the Grand Slam card. Starting AEW's four-hour Summer Blockbuster special was a singles match between Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay. The match ended in a time-limit draw and afterward, Strickland asked Ospreay for sudden death. Before they could run it back, The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir) showed up. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) entered the picture and took aim at Strickland. They handcuffed him to the ropes and repeatedly superkicked him. Ospreay ended up stepping in front of Strickland to take The Bucks' double superkick with thumbtacks lodged in the bottom of their shoes. Making the save were the AEW World Trios Champions The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori Shibata). A 10-man tag between the two sides has been made official for Grand Slam Mexico on June 18th. Here is the updated lineup for that show: * MJF vs. Místico * CMLL World Women's Championship: Zeuxis (c) vs. Mercedes Moné * Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Matt Jackson & Nicholas Jackson vs. Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe, Katsuyori & Powerhouse Hobbs
