Dominik Mysterio has already been compared often to Eddie Guerrero as the two worked together in 2005 when Eddie battled Rey Mysterio for the custody of Dom. Dominik has a similar look to Eddie, and his "Dirty" Dom character has reminded fans of Eddie's "Latino Heat" charisma. Speaking on Intoxicados, Dominik was asked for his dream scenarios in the world of wrestling. "I think I would have had a lot of fun with Macho Man Randy Savage because of the whole 'Daddy Dom' thing and he has Miss Elizabeth. I have Liv. I feel like that dynamic would be super interesting. If Eddie was still alive, we could have done some damage in such a good way. We literally could have done so much if he was still here with us," said Dominik. Randy Savage and Elizabeth were the original power couple of WWE, decades before Dominik and Liv began running the show. Elsewhere during the interview, Dominik stated his goals in WWE. Gresham is focused on supporting his wife and grinding on the indies. While guest appearing on Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, Jonathan Gresham spoke candidly about supporting his wife Jordynne Grace on her journey to and through WWE. He spoke about how Grace stood by him, supported him, and stopped him from quitting wrestling. “When I met my wife (Jordynne Grace), her goal was always WWE and I look at it like this, it’s like, oh, it’s such a blessing to be able to say, hey, I accomplished my goal of making it to Ring of Honor first and then, actually working hard enough to where my superiors said, okay, he is the guy we wanna put over for the Ring of Honor Title. I take that home and it’s like, you know what? I have to be happy with that because not a lot of people get a chance to do exactly what they wanted to do, and then it’s like, okay, well, what’s next? I was asking myself after I won the Ring of Honor Title and I was kind of like, oh, what it is? And it finally dawned on me, maybe like a year and a half ago, I was like, oh, it’s supporting your wife as much as you can through her journey to making it to WWE, and so it’s like, I just want to do as much as I can to make that transition for her easy because now, she was behind me and supported me when I was feeling down about me quitting and I was gonna quit wrestling in 2015 and because of her, I didn’t, and after that, everything happened. If it wasn’t for her stopping me from quitting, I never would have become Ring of Honor Champion so, I look at that now, like, it’s time for me to just coast and support her as much as I can through everything she’s doing because it’s not easy doing what she’s doing right now. So, I try to help out… So that’s where I’m at right now. That’s my biggest thing is being my wife’s help, helper right now and just supporting her as much as possible and then, grinding now on the indies, having fun training people.” Grace was last in action at NXT Battleground where she unsuccessfully challenged for the NXT Women's Championship. Lyra Valkyria stepped into the ring with Becky Lynch at WWE Backlash, successfully defending her WWE Intercontinental Championship in a hotly contested affair. Lyra and Becky shared the stage with Randy Orton vs. John Cena, as the two faced off for the final time in a rivalry that defined an era. Speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Lyra reflected on the Backlash bout. "That’s probably the sorest I’ve been after any match. I’m getting extremely used to that feeling now of just knowing it’s fight or flight, biggest show, biggest opportunity. I either have this or I don’t, but I gotta just go. But I was just looking at that card thinking, “I have to hold my ground here and prove that I’m worthy of being on this. And then to have so many people saying “match of the night”, and to be commending it, I’m very proud of that one," she said. Lyra and Becky are set to meet at WWE Money in the Bank. Hornswoggle talks when his son will begin wrestling. Second generation pro wrestlers are not something that surprise wrestling fans, as over the years the industry as seen several major wrestling families like The Harts, The Rhodes and more. While speaking on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Hornswoggle shared that his son will begin wrestling training with him when he turns 17. "He goes to our school. Professionally, I won't train him until he's 17. [Why 17?] Because our other classes start when they're 17. One of the Joshes that you met today. Bearded, bigger Josh. He's my business partner. I've known him since I was in third grade, best friends ever since. He's the head trainer of our school with me, he made a good point to Landon and he goes, you're gonna have enough of an uphill battle because of who your dad is. No matter what you can be the best out there, but everything's gonna be the thought of it's because it's your dad. You need to already break those barriers. If we start training you early, it's another thing they can hold against you and hold against us." Swoggle continues to wreste on the independent scene, and is currently under a WWE legends deal. Elsewhere in the same interview, Swoggle spoke about competing in WeeLC. You can read more about that here.

In February, it was reported by PWInsider that Demolition (Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow) had signed legends deals with WWE. Eadie portrayed Ax while Darsow portrayed Smash, together forming Demolition in the WWE during the late 80s. Speaking to Beal Veal on Wrestling Life, Demolition confirmed the news and the length of their deals. "We were approached by a friend of ours, a number of guys; Koko B Ware was one of them. Tito Santana. They had told us that they had been approached and made an appearance. Then, we got a call from the office and they were discussing various things, including signing a contract, which would include making some appearances, action figures. Various action figures, not only Demolition but Repo Man, Krusher Khruschev, Masked Superstar, and The Machines. The way they presented it, it sounded interesting and that it could possibly be very lucrative for us. Make some appearances and possible DVDs and other things. Right now, we're in a wait and see. They did announce some action figures coming out at WrestleCon, which got a positive response. We signed a contract over multiple years, I believe it was for six years. We'll see what the next six years, or five-and-a-half years, leads to," said Eadie. Demolition was in attendance for the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) formed in 2020 in NXT. In 2021, the group added Elektra Lopez as a manager. The group was called up to the main roster in October 2022, but Elektra did not join the group. Instead, Zelina Vega joined with them as their new manager. Speaking on the Fan's View podcast, Elektra explained why she wasn't called up with the group. "Let's go back to how it all began. People don't realize what actually happened. We were all told we were called up together. We had our last vignette where we all drive away from NXT, together. I'm not talking bad about the company or anything, I'm just stating what happened. Two months go by and we're waiting for them to tell us when we're going to debut. Finally, we all get a call on Wednesday. 'You guys are debuting this Friday on SmackDown. This is your flight and travel.' We got all of that, including me. Thursday comes, I've finished up packing, I'm in the gym working out, thinking, 'This is what you've worked your entire life and it's finally happening.' I get back home, I had checked in and downloaded my boarding pass. I'm about to leave to go the airport and I get a missed call from someone. 'The boys are going up and you're not going with them.' 'Are you sure? I have all my travel and hotel. Are you sure?' 'Yeah, I just got word this morning.' This person was actually upset, too. You could hear it in his voice. 'Unfortunately, they put it on me to give you the call to tell you.' It's something where it's everything you worked for and you've finally accomplished it....I even told all my family. That day I was supposed to fly out, I started telling my close family and friends. When I got that call, everything you think you have in the palm of your hand, it was just gone. I hung up the phone and literally stood there for ten minutes in disbelief. As any human, I broke down. You had me thinking for almost three months that this was happening. If you knew this wasn't going to happen, you probably knew ahead of time. Why give me my flight information, my hotel, everything, and then tell me, 'Actually, you're not.' That's what it was," she said. Elektra was then asked if she was given a reason as to why she didn't join the group or had a theory. "I don't know. Maybe they wanted somebody....I have a good relationship with Zelina. It's a business. I honestly don't know. I feel like they knew that's what was going to happen, and it was a mistake. Not trying to talk bad about the company, but for a billionaire company, how was there a communication mistake like that? You should know ahead of time, especially when I've been taken out of classes at NXT for two months because I was going up. I took it as, 'Alright. This happened. All I'm going to do is train harder, work harder, and prove to them why I deserve to be up there,' and that's what I did," she said. She continued, "What if I didn't answer the call? That flight, the worst part is, they didn't even cancel the whole thing out. My return flight home, I got a notification, 'You're ready to check in for your flight.' I was like, 'Are you kidding me? They didn't even cancel the flight so I get a notification? Really?' Just twist the knife and really dig it in." Lopez eventually joined the main roster in January 2024, aligning with Escobar, Angel and Humberto as the new LDF. Elsewhere during the interview, Lopez discussed her WWE release. Fans can find her full comments by clicking here. If you use any of the quotes above, please credit and link to the original source with a h/t and link back to Fightful for the transcription.
