For the fourth straight year, AEW held Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing. Over the years, the match has been accompanied by a musical track that plays while the action spills across the arena. Along with a backing track, which is eventually cut off, the match has featured fire, explosions, staplers, blood, tumbtacks, and much more. Scott D'Amore believes it belongs in the upper echelon of gimmick matches. "AEW’s Anarchy in the Arena match — with the nonstop chaos and rock music playing on a loop — has joined Hell in a Cell, War Games, the Royal Rumble and, I would humbly suggest, Ultimate X as one of the industry's top-tier gimmick matches. "Anarchy has done for falls-count-anywhere brawls what War Games and Hell in a Cell did for cage matches — and what the Royal Rumble did for battle royals. It took a staple gimmick and elevated it to something unique and truly spectacular," wrote D'Amore in his D'Amore Drop column on Yahoo. 2025 marked the first year women have competed in Anarchy in the Arena. Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale and The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs) defeated Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnioli, Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta) and The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) in this year's bout.

"Who is on your Wrestling Mount Rushmore?" is a common question asked in interviews. The response depends on the wrestler and what they value. For MVP, he values who the person is outside of the ring, which is why you won't catch Hulk Hogan on his Mount Rushmore. Speaking to Liam Solomon of BetIdeas, MVP was asked if Randy Savage is on his Mount Rushmore. "Oh man, I hate these hypotheticals. Because there are so many greats, you know? There are some people that I think should be on it. It’s a personal preference. It’s all a matter of taste. Would I say Macho Man should be on it, in my opinion? Absolutely, he should be on it. There are many people that would make the case that Hulk Hogan should be on it…I think he’s disqualified in my opinion, because…he’s who he is. Self-admitted, unapologetic, so that’s that. "But because I’m also such a huge fan of Japanese wrestling, as well. And in terms of building up the business domestically, there are some absolute greats globally. You’ve had some huge stars that helped build up the business in England and Japan and in Mexico. So if you’re putting together a Mount Rushmore, is it just American wrestlers? Is it all wrestlers of all time? So there are these questions that you have to ask, to kind of formulate it. It’s like, when people ask me, who are your all time favorite top five rappers. I’m like, well, I can tell you Rakim is number one. Ghostface Killah is number two, and three, four, and five depends on who I’ve been listening to lately and how high I am and what conversation we’re having, you know? It moves around." MVP previously called Hogan a "Pathological Lying Piece Of Human Excrement." In 2015, Hogan was suspended from the WWE Hall of Fame for three years after he was caught using racist language on tape. Elsewhere during the interview, MVP commented on Triple H. You can find his full comments here.

Tommy Dreamer comments on the discussion of TNA stars leaving for WWE, and the belief from some fans that WWE is the only organization benefiting from the working relationship between the promotions. Tommy Dreamer recently appeared on Huge Pop and was asked about the belief from some internet fans that WWE is simply poaching talent from TNA, leading to him and other TNA officials sitting around in a panic over losing names like Joe Hendry to WWE. Referencing Vince McMahon, Dreamer stated that he doesn't want people in his company who don't want to be there. He also mentions that as long as he's around, TNA will be, too, and there are benefits to potential returning names to TNA who currently work for WWE. "I'll take it from and I quote him a lot, Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon didn't want people who didn't want to be there. What player do you want on your team if they don't want to be there? It's a different world. I was with Tony Khan when Jalen Ramsey went on social media and requested a trade, and Tony Khan literally goes, 'I love Jalen. We're going to give him what he wants,' and literally then traded him, he goes, 'Did you see who we got?' He was excited for the two guys that they got and the future, because it's cool. "You don't want to be on my team? That's cool. Go, go somewhere else. I'm also crazy; I had a different attitude towards ECW because I had ECW blinders on. ECW was developmental for the industry. If somebody's contract is coming up, or if WWE -- why would you not want them to go experience something else? Here's also what I will say: this place will always be here. As long as I'm here, this place will always be here. When you come back, you could be an even bigger star for this company, whether you fail or succeed. Think about if AJ Styles ever came to TNA, it's massive. Think of if LA Knight showed up in TNA, right? Motor City Machine Guns. Think of if they return, it's going to be bigger for the company, right?" TNA's World Champion is currently a WWE NXT Superstar, Trick Williams. Learn more about that here. Joe Hendry has been asked directly if he plans to join WWE when his TNA contract expires. He's more concerned about his immediate obligations of helping to grow TNA. Learn more here. In 2016, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, & Xavier Woods) broke Demolition's record for longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, holding the titles past Demolition's 478-day record. New Day would keep the titles for 483 days before losing them to The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus). Though The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) would eventually overtake New Day, Demolition recognized New Day's mark at the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. "When the Hall of Fame was done, I came up and I tapped Kofi Kingston on the shoulder and said, 'Are you Kofi?' 'Yeah, Demolition!' I said, 'Congratulations for beating our record, you son of a gun.' We laughed and everything. Really good guy, him and his partner. He said, 'I'm sorry we broke it.' I said, 'Don't be sorry, be excited. I'm excited for you. Somebody had to break it.' It's great that a couple of good guys took it from us." Barry Darsow (Smash of Demolition) told Ben Veal on Wrestling Life. Elsewhere during the interview, Demolition commented on their WWE Legends deal, revealing the deal is for six years. You can find their full comments by clicking here. Shiloh Hill would love to be paired with Undertaker again if he does get on the second season of WWE LFG. Shiloh Hill was the runner-up to Jasper Troy in the inaugural season of WWE LFG: Legends & Future Greats on A&E. During the show, he was part of Team Undertaker and while he had the opportunity to learn so much from the WWE Hall of Famer, he believes he could always learn more from the man who was once known as WWE's conscience. During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Hill noted that he could sit under The Undertaker's learning tree for decades and continue to learn something new from him always. "I would love to continue to learn from him. I was thinking about, like, how fast the season went by. By the end of the season, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I can't believe I've been here.' Obviously during the season, I learned so much from him, but I was like, wow. Feel like there's so much more — I could probably train under him for 20 years and still be learning from him, because he's just got that much experience. But I was like, 'Wow, I really gotta, next season, try to make sure whatever legend's team I'm on, I'm soaking up everything.' I feel like I would like to be with 'Taker again, just because I think that we have a similar philosophy. What he wants out of me, I want out of me as well." Elsewhere in the interview, Shiloh Hill explained why he would like to come back to WWE LFG for a second season. Read more here. He also noted what he took away from working with Undertaker in season 1. Learn more here. Thunder Rosa hasn't won on AEW television since February when she defeated Penelope Ford. Since then, she has lost five straight matches, including tag team bouts. On her latest vlog, Rosa revealed she was called last minute to the May 7th episode of AEW Dynamite to compete in a four-way eliminator match. "Things are very somber for me right now. There's a lot of things that I want. You guys make me believe that I should be a champion, but it doesn't matter what I do, I still can't reach. I can't get a hold of that. It keeps becoming very frustrating. I'm gonna go into work, I'm gonna get hair and makeup done. Eat, prepare. Thunder Stone Cold Steve Austin is coming. I have the gear, but I didn't bring a belt, so that's not going to work. My chaps are going to fall. I will have to wait for that one. Maybe that's my winning gear [laughs]. I'm trying to use that for later. I wish I could say that I got this on the pocket, but I don't. I really don't. Losing, losing, losing makes you really somber and sad and question yourself. I've been questioning myself a lot lately. Straight up. I want to be a champion, but everybody else is telling me that I don't have what it takes to be a champion. Eh, okay. Then what the fuck do I have to do? Show my tits? I don't know," said Rosa. Rosa competed against Toni Storm, Anna Jay and Penelope Ford in the four-way eliminator bout on the May 7th episode of AEW Dynamite. She did not win. It was her most recent bout on AEW TV.
