Zelina Vega talks about her WWE theme music. Earlier this year, Zelina Vega would debut a new theme made by Def Rebel, which like many other themes made by the aritsts, has been met with criticism by fans. While speaking to DS Shin on the latest episode of Ring The Belle, Zelina Vega noted that she does indeed love here new theme, despite what fans might think. "You guys. I love my song. I know that you guys are like, oh my God, she's just saying that. Oh my God. No, for real. I really do. And here's why. I said to the person who does the music, I said, listen, I want Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and XG complete in a circle." Elsewhere in the same interview, Zelina debunked the idea that she and Mercedes Mone have beef. You can read more about that here. Maven says he would be proud to work for somebody like Tony Khan. Maven "sneaking into" AEW Collision was the subject of one of his recent YouTube videos. During that video, he met with Tony Khan and spoke about how much he respected him after seeing him work for a night. During a recent appearance on Cafe de Rene with Rene Dupree, the inaugural winner of WWE Tough Enough revealed that, of course, his appearance was prearranged and that he had gotten in touch with an old WWE employee through Colt Cabana. When discussing meeting Tony Khan, Maven said he was impressed by how Tony greeted every single wrestler that worked that evening and asked if they were okay. He would also say that he understood why names like MJF or Jon Moxley would choose to work for AEW over WWE due to the environment. "What wasn't planned was if I was going to be able to talk to Tony at the end of the night. They were filming Ring of Honor in the beginning, then Collision live, and then Ring of Honor at the end. After Collision ended, before they filmed the second half of Ring of Honor, this contact told me Tony wants to meet with you. I was waiting for about 30 minutes. I'm not kidding, Rene, every match that ended, every wrestler that came out of the ring, Tony got up from his Vince McMahon gorilla position, took his headphones off, and checked on every wrestler, and he was sincere about it. What a hell of a guy. That's a guy I would work for. That's a guy I would go to the mat for. When guys like MJF don't leave, I see why. When Jon Moxley would rather work for him than WWE? I see why. Great environment." Also, during the video, Josh Mathews confirmed his status with AEW. Learn more here. Mysterio's passion for the sport is still strong. Going into WWE WrestleMania 41, it was advertised that Rey Mysterio would be taking on El Grande Americano, the alias of Chad Gable. Due to a torn groin injury that Mysterio suffered on the SmackDown before WrestleMania, Rey Fenix replaced him in the bout against El Grande. Mysterio was interviewed by Jim Varsallone to promote his receiving of the Legend Impact Award at the National Hispanic Media Coalition's Impact Awards Gala. Along the way, he shared that in addition to the torn groin injury, he suffered a busted eardrum. “No, not easy (to stay on top in the wrestling industry). Obviously, with the amount of injuries that I’ve had over the years. I’m actually recovering from one that I just had right before WrestleMania. A torn groin and a busted eardrum. I still love doing what I do. I definitely believe that I picked up my second wind when my son started to wrestle and he broke in for the first time. Although he’s been around since he was seven years old when we had the storyline with Eddie Guerrero and the custody of Dominik (Mysterio). But overall, the passion that I have for the sport. I wanna consider myself a peacemaker. I don’t have any problems, at least I don’t think I do, with any of my colleagues, with my fans around the world. I like to connect and some way, that keeps me pushing forward and loving what I’ve been doing for the past three, four years, or should I say from the age of four when I started training. So, the connection is definitely still there, I enjoy doing it. I enjoy watching my son… It’s a diversity of fans and to be able to travel around the world and connect with all these fans, at times, has been just amazing. The love and support that they show is like no other." Coming up for WWE is their joint show with AAA, Worlds Collide. Mysterio is featured on the promotional material. He stated that he'll be a part of Worlds Collide but did not specify in what way. If the quote in this article is used, please credit Jim Varsallone with an H/T to Fightful for the transcription.

Hornswoggle shares his favorite WrestleMania moment. During the late 2000s and early 2010s, there were several WrestleMania events where Hornswoggle would partake in the show, including WrestleMania 23 and 24, where he would feature as part of the Money In The Bank ladder match and a bout between Finlay and JBL. While speaking on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Hornswoggle was asked what his favorite WrestleMania moment was, with him naming WrestleMania 23 and 24 as his favorite moments at the event. "I always go back between 23, the bump from Ken, and 24. 24, that match was because of me. And that's not an ego thing, it was written because of me, because of my role. It's crazy. Having an entrance at WrestleMania and that was my first day back with WrestleMania. Insane. Love it." Elsewhere in the same interview, Swoggle spoke about competing in WeeLC.
