Robert Stone is going to change TNA. TNA Against All Odds will be home to a big match between Santino Marella and Robert Stone. The stakes will be high, as the winner of the bout will officially be named the TNA Director Of Authority. Stone is committed to taking down Marella, as he believes that the company is currently a "complete circus". “From 2010 to 2017, I was an active member of the TNA Wrestling roster. I still have a lot of connections from there, I know some higher ups and once this NXT/TNA relationship kind of started, when you look T everything he’s done, he’s turned the place into a complete circus. It’s completely out of control. The higher ups that I still talk to basically reached out to me to ask if I’d be interested in coming over to TNA to try and clean it up and here we are. So now this huge match happening Friday on TNA+, the winner gets control of TNA, it’s crazy to say out loud but it’s happening.” Stone told Going Ringside in a new interview. Stone continued on and joked that he's going to cut everyone's pay in half and cut 80% of the roster. “Everyone probably is making more money, but that’s not what’s important. What’s important is that the company should be making more money. When I’m in charge, I’m going to cut everyone’s pay in half and if you don’t look like a superstar 100% of the time, you’re going to be gone, which means 80% of the roster is probably going to be gone. I’m going to have to revamp the roster a lot but it is what it is. We want to take this place to the next level. We want to make money.” Elsewhere in a seperate interview, Stone said that he prefers to not be in the ring regularly at this point in his career. Check out his full comments by clicking here. Fightful will have full coverage of TNA Agaianst All Odds as it airs on Friday. Santino Marella discusses his daughter's journey to WWE. In recent months as part of the WWE-TNA partnership, Arianna Grace has been seen interacting with her father and authority figure in TNA, Santino Marella. The pair both have a penchant for comedy in wrestling, with Grace routinely being part of several comedic segments on NXT TV since making her debut with the brand. While speaking to Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Santino spoke about Arianna's WWE tryouts, noting how during her second tryout, she blew WWE away. "She's something special. She was identified from a young child as just exceptional with regards to her speech, her presence. Luckily, she turned out pretty too, because that's kind of a you're born with that or not, right? I mean, you can work on it, I guess. But she's tall, she's athletic. So when she finished her degree, we kind of, for the first time ever, we never talked about it before she finished university. And I was like, do you want to do this? She was like, you actually think I can do this? Of course, this is not rocket science. It just takes dedication and hard work, which anyone can do. You don't have to be naturally gifted to be a hard worker and dedicated. So when you have these natural, raw abilities and this potential, and you apply. All she had to do, in my opinion, was be the hardest worker in the room, and she became the hardest worker in the room. So her first tryout, she was not ready, and she didn't get hired. Then the switch went off, she packed up, moved to Orlando. She was training at multiple schools, busting her ass, got in great shape. And then when she received another tryout, she just blew them away. She was the talk of the tryout, and she got hired from that, she was just in shape, and this time she was ready. So it was no freebies. When you're a second-generation talent, the idea of receiving a freebie is a horrible thing to be accused of. Some people will also understand that you're going to be given an opportunity, but it's up to you to capitalize on the opportunity. I remember talking with Cody when he was younger, that was one of the worst things you could say to him ever, was you're only here because your dad. So he became super hard working to eliminate and remove the potential for someone to even say that. I think he's done a great job, working so hard that no one could say that to him anymore." Elsewhere in the same interview, Santino shared how the Santina character was only supposed to last one night. You can read more about that here.

Luke Hawx talks 'Logan'. Hawx appeared in a pivotal scene in the 2017 movie, as he was the first person that was brutally stabbed in the head during the film. This is arguably the most important role of Hawx's career, despite the fact that he's also appeared in other movies like 'The Fate Of The Furious' and 'Black Adam'. While chatting with Fightful for a new interview during WrestleCade weekend, Hawx reflected on 'Logan' and said that he had no idea that his scene was going to be big and memorable. "It's cool. For me, I never really look back on the things I've done, because I'm always trying to find new things to work on and it's passed, but I'm at that point now where it's so talked about, and everywhere I go, people bring it up. So it's my thing and I'm very thankful to have a thing, because most people don't have a thing. They always want something, right? I had no idea that I was gonna be attached to that. I had no idea that that scene was gonna be so big. I had no idea that the scene was gonna be a memorable scene. I say it all the time, it was special because it was the first time he ever stabbed someone in the head on camera." Then, Hawx continued on and said that he didn't know he was going to be used for commericals or marketing materials. "So it was, I guess, a groundbreaking moment for like comic book movies because I was the first guy they seen get stabbed in the head by a Wolverine because all the other movies were PG-13. No blood. So I didn't know that when we shot that. No, like they didn't tell me any of that. So I didn't know I was gonna be used for the commercials. I didn't know they were gonna blast my face out there as the front runner. So when all that happened, I woke up one morning and my phone went crazy, like legit. It was crazy. I thought somebody died. Because that's normally what happens. Something bad happened when you have all those messages like first thing, right? But then before I could even read the messages, one of my students had called and I go, ‘Oh crap.’ It's like six in the morning. I answer the phone real quick. I'm like, ‘[Kay], what's up?’ Real odd that he's calling me at six in the morning. He goes, ‘Boss! Boss, are you in Wolverine?’ I'm like, ‘Yeah, I shot it. I don't know if they're going to use the scenes though.’ You know, you know?" Elsewhere in the interview, Hawx talked about PJ Hawx's viral mall spot and explained why they didn't get to capitalize on the moment. Click here to check out his full comments. Liv Morgan says that Judgment Day is the gift that keeps on giving. Following SummerSlam 2024, The Judgment Day saw the removal of two members in Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, with the faction bringing in Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the aftermath. However, now, in June 2025, the group has seen heightened tensions in the past few weeks between Finn Balor and Liv Morgan. While speaking on the RAW Recap this week, Liv Morgan was asked about the tension within the group as of late, with Morgan noting that the faction remains a family. "I think that the Judgment Day is kind of like the gift that keeps on giving. We have a lot of members, a lot of different personalities. We are not all gonna get along all the time. We are all not gonna see eye to eye all the time. I come from a very big family, and so this is kind of just feels like it's family. You know you fight with your brothers your sisters um and so no, I think that right now, some things have to get in order. Some things have to be more aligned. But I think at the end of the day, Judgment Day is just a family." Elsewhere in the same interview, Morgan noted that she has asked Dominik Mysterio to stay in the back during her matches because she wants him to 'let her cook'. You can read more about that here. Javier Bernal comments on a potential return to WWE. After being released from the company on May 2, Bernal is now a free agent in the world of wrestling. Given that Bernal has no experience outside of the WWE system, many fans are eager to see which promotion he lands with or if he'll go on a big indie run. While speaking with Shawn Talks Wrestling for a new interview, Bernal was asked about possibly returning to the company in the future. “Sure. I mean, like I said, any company that has the opportunity to hire me and use me and to take advantage of what I have to offer, they’re a lucky one. WWE is now back on that market again. I don’t close any doors. As angry as I could have been or as upset as I could have been, I’m not gonna close any doors because for one, it’s not good business, but two, that’s just not who I am. I don’t feel the need to bury anyone or to make anyone feel bad about themselves or the company, there’s no reason for that. Listen, I love Drew McIntyre, he’s a good brother. I love Cody Rhodes, he’s a good brother. I love both of them and I look up to them in that regard as far as that goes. But I’m looking to be the next Javi. I feel that, with the odds stacked against me is where I shine the most. If you give me a chance and you stack the deck against me, I’m going to do good. Any opportunity that I’m given, if people don’t believe in me, it doesn’t matter because I believe in me and once I believe in me, I’m going to do great. The whole reinventing myself thing, you know, I don’t even consider it a reinventing. It’s an affirmation of who I am and getting a chance to do whatever it is I choose to do. I’m open to WWE and going back to WWE. To be honest, I know I could get that call in six months, I could get that call in a year, I could get that call in three years, I could get that call in five years, but I will get that call about coming back at some point. I know I'll get a phone call and you know, it depends on whatever stage of life I’m at. That being said, right now, my goal is to be everywhere and anywhere. If a company like AEW, TNA, NWA, MLW, CMLL, New Japan, or any of the bigger companies, when they see me in person, I’m ready to do good business. Elsewhere in the interview, Bernal discusses his release from WWE and how he had a creative meeting scheduled just a few days before he got the call. Check out his full comments by clicking here. Fightful will continue to update fans on Javier Bernal and his post-WWE journey. Ricochet wants gold. In recent weeks, Ricochet has made his future plans very clear, stating that he wants to put together a group and chase gold in AEW. With AEW All In Texas just a few weeks away, Ricochet recently spoke with Dallas Morning News for a new interview. The outlet asked the 36-year-old if he plans to put together a group by the time the show rolls around in July. “If all goes accordingly, absolutely. But, again, it’s up in the open right now. But for me, I think the quest for gold is the No. 1 thing on my mind. And the group that I need, the people around me that I need are all going to line up, are going to sync together with what I feel is the most important thing, and that’s the quest for gold. Whatever happens, it doesn’t matter where, when, why, whether it’s at a Dynamite, whether it’s on a Collision, whether it’s at All In, my quest for gold comes first." Kacy Catanzaro didn't see the signs. On May 2, a plethora of stars were released from WWE. The former Katana Chance was part of the cuts alongside her tag team partner, Kayden Carter. A little over a month after the release, Catanzaro sat down with Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. Van Vliet asked Catanzaro if she saw any signs that her release was on the horizon. “So I didn’t realize there were clues until I was explaining how the last few weeks went, and then I was like, Okay, maybe? So we got moved from Raw to SmackDown in the switch-ups. So it wasn’t like a draft, but people were getting moved around. I’m like, Okay, well you always kind of have to take both sides. Everything that happens can feel like it’s a bad thing, and then I just won’t survive that way. So then I always have to try and make it positive. So we got moved from Raw to SmackDown. Originally, you’re like oh man, Raw just got moved to Netflix. That’s really big and now they’re taking us off of it. Is that bad? But then people are like, well, there’s more time on SmackDown, we want more storylines for you guys. Cool, that’s believable. I love that. So we get to SmackDown, there’s a big pay-per-view coming up, so the stories are all kind of already happening for the pay-per-view for the next two weeks. So we’re like, okay, we’re not doing anything yet. Again, makes sense. That’s how things happen. That totally makes sense. So then the pay-per-view passes. Now it’s another month or so, we’re pitching stuff. We’re pitching all the angles, sending storylines in, trying to get in. We’re trying to fit into what’s already happening, trying to pitch off the wall stuff that could be cool and different, whatever. So as it gets closer, now we’re getting to Mania season. So now it’s like a month before WrestleMania. We’re like, okay, I know that if something that we’re doing isn’t in WrestleMania, anything can happen, because everything has to lead up to that. Times get changed and stories need more time or get changed. So we were supposed to be leading to this six-woman tag with me, Lacey [Kayden Carter] and Zelina against Chelsea, Piper and Alba. So we’re like, okay, cool, it’ll be some tag stuff, some single stuff. This will be great. They start having their singles matches, which is supposed to lead to a tag, which is supposed to lead this, whatever. Things keep changing where it just keeps getting pushed. So they had a singles. The next week was supposed to be the six woman, then it didn’t happen. We were like, Oh, well will there be a backstage? But then it didn’t happen. Zelina had something, and we’re like, Oh, are we gonna be there with her? And they were like, no, no, we’re just gonna do this first. Then it was the week of WrestleMania and it was supposed to happen, and then the day before it got pushed. We were like, Okay, again, it’s WrestleMania weekend. Of course something more important having to do with the show happened. Not very weird. Move on." Catanzaro then proceeded to detail some of her team's post-WrestleMania woes. "Now we’re post WrestleMania, and there was a charity event that I do often with someone who has worked with NXT and with WWE. It wasn’t a WWE event, but they would let us go there. We weren’t signing anything. It was just for a good cause. I’ve done it for years, and one of the NXT girls that was invited had messaged me and said something to the effect of I can’t do it, and they’ll let me know why soon. I was like, sounds weird, but people are weird. Who knows? My boyfriend says, I wonder if it’s because they’re gonna do releases. I was like, but that wouldn’t really make sense because it’s not a WWE event, so they wouldn’t care. It wasn’t being posted anywhere, it was just for a good cause. I’m like, that’s weird. Then the person doing the charity event messaged me and said another wrestler was like, Oh, I wonder if releases are happening. I’m like, Okay, two people is weird. I actually made a joke to my boyfriend when he said it. I was like, if I get released, will you still love me? You know how girls are crazy? And he was like yes, of course. But I only made that joke because I didn’t actually think that it was happening. Then another joke is, if you get a 203 number because it’s a Connecticut area code, you’re in trouble. We didn’t travel that week, another sign. But I was like, Okay, we don’t have a story yet. No big deal." Catanzaro wrapped up the topic by detailing the phone call that she got while she was working out. "So I’m working out in my garage, and I get a phone call, and it’s not a 203 number so I ignore it because I’m working out. Then it calls again. You know how sometimes it’s like, might be this person? It called a second time, and I was like, Okay. I look and it said, might be so and so. I was like, oh, no. I knew right away. I picked up the phone, and I was like, hello? Then I was like, Oh, this is it. I’ve thought about that moment so many times that when it happened, I felt like I wasn’t in my body. I was on the phone answering and then when I hung up, I was like, I feel like I should have said more or asked more questions. I think I was just like, okay, okay, bye. It’s such a weird feeling. So at the moment, I had no idea. Then as I retell the story, I’m like I was trying not to be like, negative and nervous. But as I say it, I’m like, okay, these were probably signs.” Elsewhere in a seperate interview, Catanzaro stated that she doesn't know if she ever found herself in WWE. Check out her full comments on the matter by clicking here. Fans can keep up with Catanzaro's post-WWE journey by following her on Instagram and X. Special thanks to Chris Van Vliet and his team for the quote(s).
