Seth Rollins takes another shot at Hulk Hogan. Seth Rollins appeared on Up & Adams with Kay Adams, who is new to wrestling fandom. At the end of the interview, Kay asked Seth to book a Bears dream team against a WWE dream team. Seth picked William "The Refrigerator" Perry, Stone, "Mongo" McMichael, and Devin Hester as his three Bears legends. Perry and McMichael have wrestling experience. As for his WWE team, Seth went with guys he would like to get beat up, selecting CM Punk for obvious reasons and Rick Martel because he didn't like him as a kid. As for his final pick... Rollins: We want somebody we want to see get crushed in the ring and that's going to be Hulk Hogan [Laughs]. Adams: Why are you saying that? Rollins: Look it up? Adams: I'm confused. Rollins: Look it up. You'll figure it out. We'd love to see Hulk Hogan get kicked around a little bit by these boys. That'd be nice. Adams: You don't like Hulk Hogan? Rollins: Complicated relationship there with the Hulkster. Adams: Can I have it in one sentence? Rollins: Nope, you cannot. That is tricky. You're gonna have to google that one. You can probably figure it out pretty easily, to be fair. It's not that tricky. Adams: He's a bad guy, and you're a good guy. Rollins: Hollywood Hulk Hogan, not a good guy. Bernal speaks about the persona he brought forth to NXT. In early May, there was a batch of WWE talent releases and one of the names included in that group was Javier Bernal. Bernal, now going by 'Javi,' made the media rounds ahead of his pending free agency. One of his stops was a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest. He spoke about the 'Big Body Javi' persona he introduced in NXT and shared that one of his inspirations was Chris Jericho when he was with WCW in 1997. “You know, it’s funny because the way I thought of Big Body Javi and then the other way people thought of Big Body Javi and when I mean other people, I mean just creative. When you go into these creative meetings, you have your idea honestly, then you have their idea and there’s -- I’ll just say five. I don’t know how many but five people in a room so we’re all trying to figure out what one idea there is. So, Big Body Javi to me was like, I am so confident in a land of giants, I’m gonna call myself the biggest one, and also, it sounded cool. Big Body Javi. It just sounded frenetic, right? You can see from my gear even that I’m a very big fan of Chris Jericho. Specifically, this character was very inspired by WCW, ‘97 Jericho… Very arrogant, pompous. I wasn’t (born at that time). I was born -- I think I was alive when he did his WWF debut, I think. But that was about it. But very Van Halen, very Steel Panther. That’s like the best way to describe Big Body Javi and it was very arrogant, very fun though because you could -- as much as you hated it, you kind of liked him because he was funny… The Big Body Javi stuff is kind of where I got my break and I did these backstages with McKenzie (Mitchell), and again, going back to the Jericho thing, I did the Big Body Files where I had a list of (names) on a computer sheet of paper and it would list people I’d wanna wrestle. Eddie Kingston has been out of action for over a year, suffering a leg injury against Gabe Kidd at NJPW STRONG Resurgence on May 11, 2024. During his rehab, he's been training with Cezar Bononi to help keep his strength and conditioning up. Appearing on Cezar's YouTube channel, Kingston discussed his plans to get back in the ring. "Everything is slow at first, it's running the ropes, all that stuff. three-quarter rolls. Then I'll get in there. I would like to get Ortiz and Homicide down to grapple. Ortiz, if they're going to film it, because AEW likes to film everything, I get it. I don't, that's not me and my style. At least get Ortiz back on TV [Laughs]. It's not my show. You're not always going to agree with your job. Once I get to the ring, I'm happy, I'm good," said Kingston. It is unknown when Kingston will return to the ring or AEW TV.
