Shotzi returned to the independent scene on Friday, competing at Hoodslam. Her WWE contract was not renewed in May, making her a free agent. Cash Wheeler gets his record expunged. Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Cash Wheeler's record has been expunged of his 2023 arrest. An official ruling wiping Wheeler's legal record clean was officially filed by Florida courts on May 5. In August 2023 it was reported that Cash Wheeler was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. Wheeler allegedly flashed a gun at the alleged victim. He continued to appear and perform on AEW television until the case was dropped in May 2024. In September, Cash detailed the arrest and the fallout from the incident. You can find his full comments here. Cash is currently signed to AEW where he teams with Dax Harwood at FTR.

El Hijo del Vikingo remains AAA Mega Champion. Vikingo defeated Chad Gable in the main event of WWE x AAA Worlds Collide to retain the AAA Mega Championship. Page holds on to his championship. The first title match of the afternoon at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide saw a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT North American Championship. Ethan Page put his title on the line against Je'Von Evans, Rey Fenix, and AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid. As their bout was ongoing, the crowd at the Kia Forum began to chant "We Want Truth" for R-Truth, whose WWE contract is not being renewed by the company after a 17-year run. The conclusion of the match saw Page shove Laredo Kid into the path of Evans' top rope cutter. Page tossed Evans out of the ring, hit his 'Twisted Grin' onto Kid, and pinned him to retain. It was Page's first defense since winning the belt from Ricky Saints in May.

Stephanie Vaquer is heading to Money in the Bank next. There was a traditional tag team bout at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide that saw Stephanie Vaquer and Lola VIce take on Chik Tormenta and Dalys. Dalys and Tormenta came out to Mercedes Martinez's old NXT theme song. While the bout was ongoing, Tormenta got into the face of WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton who was seated ringside. Also at ringside was Negro Casas. He was cheering on his student Dalys. Vaquer pinned Dalys to secure the win for her team. Post-match, Vaquer and Vice were interviewed by Vero Rodríguez. Rodríguez is a television host/lead anchor and the wife of Finn Bálor. Vaquer will be in action at WWE's Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on 6/7. She'll be in the women's Money in the Bank Ladder match.
Results from the opening contest. Kicking off the in-ring action at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide was a six-man tag team match that saw Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana take on Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado. Originally, Joaquin Wilde was going to team with his L.W.O. stablemates Lee and Del Toro but he suffered an injury at a Main Event taping during which he was knocked out. As the six-man tag was taking place, Mr. Iguana mixed it up with Dorado and brought his hand puppet Yezka into the ring. He wrestled while holding the puppet in his mouth. He even put Yezka on top of Dorado for a pin. At one point, Dorado took the puppet and slammed it on the ground. He gave it a Spanish Fly which drew huge boos from the crowd. The match ended with Octagón Jr. pinning Dorado.
Dominik Mysterio got involved in the action at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, speaking ill of Rey Mysterio after Octagon Jr, Aerostar, and Mr. Iguana defeated Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado. Dominik, who was sitting ringside with Liv Morgan, was confronted by Octagon, leading to a brawl between the two. They continued to fight in the ring before being separated. Dominik stated he would see Octagon Jr at Money in the Bank and he would put his WWE Intercontinental Title on the line.
