Nixon Newell discusses Dani Luna. On May 18th at ATTACK! C'est La Vie, Nixon Newell would take on Dani Luna in singles action. Luna, who is a former NXT UK superstar is currenty signed to TNA, but remains a staple of the British wrestling scene despite that. While speaking to Wrestling In Middle in a new interview, Newell was asked about how her free agency is going, with Newell mentioning that she has been suffering from a lack of bookings, but took time to highlight her match with Dani Luna and remains hopeful for more bookings "Not great, to be honest. Severe lack of bookings. I'm not sure where that's from, but the bookings that I have done, like I've been home to ATTACK!, which has been phenomenal. Got to wrestle Dani Luna, who's been on my list, God, for years since she first started training, I could tell she was going to be something special. So she's been on my list for a very, very long time. So I'm glad that one was in the books at least. But yeah, it's been slow. Hopefully it picks up soon because it's a nightmare. Richard Holliday says his time in GCW is over. Holliday would make his debut in GCW in 2023, and has competed in the company since. However, now it seems his time with them will be coming to an end next month. At the GCW Tournament Of Survival event, Holliday would cut a promo where he stated that he would be leaving GCW and his time there had come to an end, with his last match scheduled for July 6th. "Win, lose or draw, July 6th will be my last match in GCW. That'll be the last time you ever fucking see me again." WWE touts viewership numbers for WWE x AAA Worlds Collide. WWE and AAA came together on June 7th for Worlds Collide, putting the event free on YouTube. WWE announced that the event set a record for the largest live audience in company history for a YouTube broadcast. The event peaked at 764,389 live concurrent viewers across the WWE and WWE Espańol YouTube channels during the main event between AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable. According to the company, Worlds Collide has been watched by more than 4.1 million viewers on YouTube in the first 24 hours. On X, #WorldsCollide was the No. 1 trending topic globally on Saturday, and WWE generated more than 32 million social views across all platforms in the first 24 hours. Will Ospreay puts over the UK indies ability to provide fan service. Ospreay is a product of the UK's independent wrestling scene, coming up in the likes of PROGRESS Wrestling and Revolution Pro. Last year, Ospreay would say goodbye to the UK scene for the time being as he had signed with AEW. However, the UK scene remains a big part of Ospreay's world, as he produces and works on the creative team of the UK's all women's promotion, Pro Wrestling EVE. In a new social media post reacting to a fans story of taking their child to a RevPro show this past weekend, Ospreay stated that the UK indies have always provided 'such great fan service'. WWE is in Arizona for WWE Raw on Monday, and Dominik Mysterio paid a visit to Eddie Guerrero's grave ahead of the event. Dominik posted a photo on his social media with Eddie's tombstone and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Warner Bros Discovery is set to split their company in two. On June 9th, Warner Bros Discovery announced that they would be splitting the company in two, with one side focusing on the companiest studio productions and streaming services, headed by Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav, while the other will focus on the companies global television networks and will be headed by CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels. From David Zaslav: “By operating as two distinct and optimized companies in the future, we are empowering these iconic brands with the sharper focus and strategic flexibility they need to compete most effectively in today’s evolving media landscape." Brian Cage has undergone yet another surgery. In April of this year, Brian Cage underwent leg surgery, returning to the gym just days later. At the time, Cage did not share details of the procedure he underwent, but has now noted that he underwent a quad tendon repair procedure. In a new social media post, Cage noted that he had once again gone under the knife for a knee replacement last week, also revealing the quad tendon prepare procedure. Cage also shared that he was once again back in the gym just days removed from surgery.
