Positive remarks from Krügger about his time in MLW. It was in early 2024 that Mads Krügger a.k.a. Krule returned to Major League Wrestling at their SuperFight event. He's been back with the organization for over a year and during a chat with Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, he shared that he has 'another year' left on his contract. In 2024, Krügger confirmed to Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl on 'In The Weeds' that he signed a multi-year deal with MLW. “I’m still with ‘em. I re-signed last summer. I started back last January and then after a couple shows, they were like, ‘Hey, we really want you to come back and be with us’ and I was like, ‘Sure.’ Everything was going great, and I was really happy to be back and I like where things are going, the locker room’s phenomenal and we keep adding new people to that. It felt like a good thing to do, the right thing to do and I haven’t been disappointed a year later, and I’ve got another year and hey, doesn’t (look) like anything’s gonna stop right now. So, it’s going great.” In January 2023, a report emerged from PWInsider which noted that Krügger asked for his release from MLW and was granted it. He confirmed that he asked to be let go. When Krügger returned in 2024, he worked with Jacob Fatu as Fatu was wrapping up with the organization. Krügger shared that Fatu wanted to work with him on his way out. “And then, it wasn’t long after that that I left (MLW) the first time. I had just different things happen and then I actually got injured and so it was just I asked for my release and was given it. But then, when I come back, last January, that was literally Fatu on his way out the door and I would be told later that when the conversation (came) up about who would he wanna do something with to kind of end this thing, he wanted to work with me and I thought that was so awesome that that was kind of my foot back into the door and it all kind of happened at the same time. It was perfect timing, perfect storm and so we got to finish that thing off with me coming back and him moving on to greater things. Like I said, he’s one of those honest people and he doesn’t mind talking good about somebody even if they’re not around, and I know he’s told other people that -- how much he enjoyed working with me and things like that so that’s -- hey, he doesn’t have to do that. Nobody has to do that but, he’s one of those people.” In addition to his on-screen duties, Krügger is helping out behind the scenes at MLW. “I really hope to get into the production and the backstage part of it. I’ve already took that step with MLW, and some of the things I’m doing behind the scenes. I love pro wrestling, I love the storytelling, I love creating stories and I’m enjoying starting to tap into that aspect of it and telling stories for someone besides myself and seeing what else I can create here besides just for me.” MLW premiered its War Chamber special and Krügger was part of the show. He competed in a Chicago Street Fight. If the quotes in this article are used, please credit Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling with an H/T to Fightful for the transcriptions.

Matt Hardy talks Mariah May in WWE. The former AEW Women’s World Champion shocked the world on the June 3 edition of NXT, making a surprise appearance on the program just days after being removed from AEW’s online roster page. Many fans think that May will become a champion for the brand soon. Matt Hardy is going one step further with his prediction for May, saying that she’ll be a staple for the women’s division for years to come. “I think she’s incredibly talented. I think she has a great thing going for her with the current embodiment of her character and her persona. She’s got a great look. I feel like her going to NXT and tipping her toes in the water with WWE and starting officially with WWE, that was her dream. That’s what she wanted to do when she set out in wrestling. God bless her, good on her for achieving her dream. She worked in Japan, she busted her ass, she got herself over, she tried out for WWE even before that maybe, but she worked hard and got herself over. She came to AEW, did some amazing and compelling and super entertaining TV, it’s a win man. I think she’s great in NXT, I think she’ll end up moving up to the main roster and she’ll do great there. I think for years to come, she’ll be a staple in the women’s division.” Hardy said on the most recent edition of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy. Natalya recently commented on Mariah May debuting for the company, saying that she has the total package. Learn more by clicking here. R-Truth recalls meeting Jack Crockett. Before joining the world of wrestling in 1999, R-Truth spent a lot of time in jail, as he was arrested on multiple occasions for dealing drugs. Truth, real name Ron Killings, was able to turn things around after meeting Jack Crockett at a pivotal point in his life. “Last time I got locked up, it was like 12 months. My sister brought my pictures down just to keep my spirits up. Deputy Carr and Deputy Williams, I won’t forget them, they saw the pictures. Kid and play, Evander Holyfield, Tupac, Eazy E. They saw all these pictures. He said, ‘Man, we need to find somebody that got some money that’ll invest in you.’ They said, ‘You ever heard of Jack Crockett?’ He said, ‘They’re the ones that started NWA in the south.’ Last time I got locked up, I met Jack Crockett in there. By the time he introduced me and Crockett, he said, ‘When you get out, give me a call, I’m going to give you a job.’ I was done with the streets." Truth recalled while speaking to Daniel Sadoh for a new interview. After talking about his brief return to the streets, Truth spoke about how easy it was for him to adapt to wrestling. “I remember going to the first time going to a wrestling ring in Charlotte, I ate that shit up. I’m talking about learning to take a bump, learning how to do headlocks, learning how to do this and do that, man. I’m still on motherfucking house arrest the whole time. I was on probation for ten years. I was a YN because I was immature. Nobody has the handbook to life, nobody. It doesn’t come with one. So, like, you either learn, talk, follow, or lead. Sometime we do all of the above until we find out who the fuck we are.” Truth shocked the world and returned to WWE as Ron Killings at WWE Money In The Bank. Fightful Select has a ton of new details on Truth's return to the company.
